THIS is an honest confession. I am a Bangladesh cricket fanatic. And, I never watch Bangladesh play. Some of those who know have commented on Facebook that I am a sort of a hypocrite who finds it too busy to watch matches but is always posting, discussing and writing on cricket. The truth is a lot simpler. We, cricket fanatics who support the national team, are incredibly superstitious.
Once when I used to watch, Bangladesh lost. Several of my friends teased me and said that Bangladesh lost because I had watched. So, for the sake of the national team, I have not watched any matches since then. Not unless we are playing any team which is ranked way below. As that number is not high. I rarely, almost never, watch.
